Yoga Teacher Training 2025
The program is 200 hours of basic training. It is recognized by the Yoga Teachers Association of Iceland, and provides membership in JKFÍ. The program also meets Yoga Alliance requirements.
The Om Center is in one of the most beautiful viewpoints of Reykjanesbær with views of the sea, the mountains, and the magnificent Snæfellsjökull glacier. We enjoy being close to the energy of Mother Earth and the power of Heavenly Father in all its glory. A great place to prepare yourself for the mental and physical transformations that go deep into the mind of yoga. We place great emphasis on our students learning to teach and practice yoga in a way that has a profound impact on both themselves and their students, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
It is important to us that students understand the concept behind yoga. Quieting the mind, drawing attention inward and listening to the body is an important trinity in yoga. Everything we want to improve, fix and heal starts with you. Practicing yoga is nourishing body and soul.
You control how deep you are willing to go. We put great emphasis on meditation, breathing, and daily yoga practice.
This program is fun, educational, spiritually meaningful, and rewarding for you and your environment whether your focus is practicing yoga just for you or teaching others.
